My hero academia gay characters
My Hero Academia's LGBTQ+ History and Future, Explained
Mineta is one of the most hated characters in My Hero Academia, not just by several of the characters on the exhibition (especially the female ones) but also fans. He is lecherous, perverted, and a bit of a coward. A subset demographic of fans now animosity him more because Mineta would be a crass representation of a fluid. Mineta potentially being pansexual plays into the trope that bisexual people (particularly bisexual males) are promiscuous predators who are not to be trusted.
There is little solid evidence of Mineta being bisexual. Most of the speculation comes from the My Hero Academia manga Chapter #, where Mineta says to Deku, "I fell for you." This is hardly a case for his sexuality. Still, more hinges on the proof that English translations are not always solid, whereas looking into a more accurate translation from Japanese has Mineta stating that he "admired" him. For those living in the West, the reaction to Mineta being perceived as bisexual may feel the equal as what happened to the latest iteration of Superman coming
As you may or may not have heard, depending on your awareness of manga/anime, there was a bit of a surprising “coming out” for a rather loathed character in a popular Manga and anime series called “My Hero Academia”. Regular readers will know of my fondness for this particular franchise, being one of the few animes that I follow religiously, and the fewer still of which I have scan the manga for, such is my adoration for this I.P.
(It has only grown since then!)
But (like most fans) there is one character in the series that I absolutely loathe, it’s not one of the murderous, yet charismatic villains of which there are many, and it’s not one of the heroes with a history of dishing out emotional and physical maltreatment. No, it is one of the “Hero” students, “Minoru Mineta” a cowardly, sleazy, misogynist sex pest, with a sexual harassment suit in his not too distant future. And this is the traits that has supposedly show up out as bi-sexual, understandably upsetting fans.
(Hehe just sucks okay? Like he really sucks!)
Now, it’s not the fact that Mineta could be bi-sexu
My Hero Academia manga issue continued to focus on the queer relationship between the villain Himiko Toga and hero Ochaco Uraraka.
While I dont review the My Hero Academia manga on The Geekiary, I complete keep up with it. The current battle had Himiko overwhelming the heroes on the battlefield and Ochaco trying to reach out to her to talk about care for. Now, Im no stranger to Talk-No Jutsu. Thats why I was gentle of side-eyeing mangaka Kohei Horikoshis choice to have the highly anticipated defend between the two girls be about feelings.
However, with how everything turned out, I have to say that the confrontation was quite well-written. I perceive certain fans not being happy. But, in my belief, chapters and handled Toga vs Uraraka in a very effective manner.
I ponder, after My Hero Academia manga issue , no one should ever uncertainty that Himiko and Ochaco are indeed queer characters. And as far as the Shonen genre goes, thats quite impressive. The very popular MHA has had queer advocacy through transgender characters (Yawara Chatora and Kenji Hishiki

If you have a obstacle with my headcanons, say you disagree and tell me what you headcanon. I don't require to read this long paragraph that basically could be summed up as "Hey, I acquire a problem with your headcanons."
I don't need you to dial me a heterophobe because it interferes with your ships. These are MY headcanons. Not yours. And I swear to god if anyone comments that I put half of the cast as gay, I will delete your comment because that's not even true. There's like 5 characters that I headcanon as gay. The other characters are bisexual, transgender or a alternative sexuality.
Once again, these are MY headcanons and I'm not saying that these are canon. Some may go against canon communication but I don't care.
Heyo, Minty Here!
Now, all of you probably don't know this but I'm ap
