What’s On

Brighton & Hove’s calendar is literally bulging with entertainment and events of every kind imaginable, all year round. So no matter when you plan to visit, there’ll always be plenty of interesting and exciting things going on all over town.

For starters, two of Brighton’s biggest events, the art-and-culture-packed Brighton Festival (May) and the world-famous Brighton Pride (August) attract thousands of visitors every year and propose stunning parades awash with colour and creativity. In fact barely a week goes by without a festival taking place in Brighton or elsewhere in Sussex. From the Great Escape (May) to Burning the Clocks (Dec) to the Brighton Kite Festival (July), you can find festivals celebrating photography, science, comedy, beer, and much, much more.

Live Music

Festivals aside, live music lovers will never go hungry in Brighton. The Brighton Centre & Brighton Dome, Komedia, Ironworks Studio and The Elderly Market are just a not many of the venues where you can catch performances from both world-famous artists and up-and-coming

HOW IT WORKS

The beauty of Speed Dating London lies in its no-nonsense approach. You take an equal number of unpartnered girls and guys, set them in a room and give them a few minutes to chat with every other member of the opposite sex.

When you get there

Original speed dating events in London normally begin at pm. You will need to register with our hosts and to begin with they will issue you with a score sheet. This will help you to keep track of the singles that you would like to see again and perhaps depart on a date with. After a short period of mingling, your host for the evening who will run through detailed instructions and give you your starting position if you are a guy or table for the event if you are a girl.

We're constantly hearing theories as to why Homosexual people exist and at 13, surrounded by unbent people, our predominantly heterosexual planet sowed a seed of doubt and shame in my mind about being gay. I realised my life was about to be a lot more difficult as a gay man and, for a split second, I genuinely wished I could've been straight.

Even in , it's actually cute easy to see why you might want someone to turn you heterosexual. Homophobic hate crimes in the UK are on the rise. Recently, a survey suggested 58% of gay men are scared to hold hands with a partner in common. A lesbian couple were attacked on a London bus in a suspected hate crime which shock
