Sydney World Pride is the most colourful LGBTQ+ celebration in the southern hemisphere, and one of the largest in the world. The festival takes place in February and March in Recent South Wales and incorporates Sydney Homosexual and Lesbian Mardi Gras.

Sydney World Parade

Some half a million people are expected to participate in the Planet Pride Sydney, with in excess of events scheduled, making it a must-attend event should you be in the New South Wales capital at the time.

The World Identity festival even is not simply about having a good second as it has a serious side too. Parallel to Sydney World Celebration , will be a Human Rights Conference focusing on issues relating to discrimination against people due to their sexual orientation or identity.

Mardi Gras Parade

When: 1 March

In , the Mardi Gras Parade returns to Oxford Street, Flinders Street and Anzac Parade, centred around the theme 'Our Future'. As always, the pride will be led by the beloved Dykes on Bikes, First Nations and 78er floats.

The parade is the biggest event of the festival, featuring more than 12, marchers and over floats captivating spectators with a spectacular display of colour, creativity and celebration. There are free viewing areas all along Oxford Street, as well as premium viewing spaces and accessible viewing ticketed areas to view the spectacle from Hyde Park to Moore Park.

First Nations First Light: A Festival Welcome

Dan is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in the dynamic fields of events and arts management. A graduate of Edith Cowan University, he holds a double degree in Accounting &#; Finance as adequately as Marketing &#; Events Management.

Daniel&#;s impressive resume also includes various roles on some of Australia&#;s largest and most prestigious events, including HBF Race for a Reason, Ironman, Tough Mudder, Future Harmony Festival, Busselton Jetty Dive, Rottnest Channel Swim, and Ship-Wrecked Music Festival. With his unwavering commitment to excellence and w
